Valentine Forrest is a thoughtful, determined, and detail-oriented artist in both 2D and 3D formats. Val is a generalist, with skills in 2D/3D animation, 3D modeling/sculpting, illustration, and design. He specializes in character modeling and expressive character animation. Inspired by the impact animation had on his life, he seeks to inspire other young artists to pursue their passions, just as he did.
Val has excellent team management skills, collaboration skills, and takes critique with a grain of salt to ensure the best products for his clients. He also works in traditional mediums, such as wood carving, relief printing, painting, and much more. His passion for creation drives him forward, both in his life and his career. Illustration pieces can be commissioned or contracted. Commissioned pieces are for personal use only, such as OC portraits, character turnarounds, and other individualized work. Freelance 3D animation work is by contract only. Please reach out to me directly for more information about 3D animation contracting. My 3D animation work is bouncy, unique, and fluid, adding character to otherwise static blocking. I add depth to any shot by animating unique movements and drawing from real-life acting references.

2D animation can be commissioned (for personal use) or contracted (for business use). I love animating character work and turnarounds, making my 2D work useful for other artists to reference from. I work with bright colors and dynamic FPS changes to add dimension and uniquity to the project.
